Staff was friendly
Very squalid despite recent extensive rennovations. Hard to access from interstate and harder to get on. It was safe enough but did not look that way.
Our room had an haunted alarm clock but we finally exorcised it by unplugging it.
room was acceptable for price, had good use of laundry room and computers.
night staff werent great and to book a cab was anightmare everynight, waited over an hour on saturday!
It was conviently located for our purposes. The staff was helpful.
The Booking map for the hotel had it located across the highway from where it really was. We had to call the hotel to find out where it was. You might check your location finder. The desk person was helpful when we called and could tell us exactly how to get there.
The room was really clean and I told the staff that I wanted a room on the first floor which he made it happen. Had everything we really needed and the staff was helpful. Well worth the money you pay for it.
Not as close to downtown as advertise and the taxi ride was 20 dollar to 6th street. Difficult to get a taxi which would be nice if they had a shuttle service.
Location, breakfast, price
Price is lower if you book directly with the hotel. $63.00 at the desk vs $73.00 with Booked.net Wrong location on the Booked.net Map
At 3:00 a.m. an intoxicated male was knocking on door, then persistantly twisting know bumping door trying to enter. After attempts of telling him he had the wrong room I called the office and they answered phone immediately and said they would be "right there" and were. They removed the man and I had no more trouble.
Too close to highway. Did not get any sleep!
Roaches in the room, we left at 1:20 am as a result.
Recently I had surgery and needed a room to meet my needs. I also have a dog. I had asked for a room on the ground floor that would make things easier for me. When I checked in I discovered that I had been put in the room next to the office on the ground floor. So convenient! The staff upon check-in was superb. I travel to Austin at least once a month to visit family and have stayed at even the most luxurious hotels. But, this visit was made so pleasurable due to the staff doing their utmost to meet my needs. I will definitely book at this Super 8 again.
A little noisy, but it was the weekend, and the hotel was very busy. To be expected.
1. Very unclean surroundings, corridors, walkways, parking. 2. Elevators did not work, could not go beyond 2nd floor. 3. Room carpet dirty. 4. AC was too loud. 5. Very noisy, could not sleep well, heard traffic and people walking floor above our room. 6. Over all it was not a pleasent stay
Good hotel overall. Free parking, free wi-fi.
The vending machine took my money and didn´t gave me anything in return and the lady at reception didn´t care about it at all. And also, breakfast being served only untill 9am on weekends it´s a joke!
Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Truly some of the best service I have encountered anywhere.
Highway noise is a problem on rooms facing the front - even those behind the facade above the office . Unsure how quiet rooms are on the backside of the building. Bathroom in my room needed some overhauling - tub had black stains in it. Carpet coming loose at the door - definitely showing its age.
bugs in the room did not get any new toilet paper, napkins, towels, etc. Staff on board was rude!! Housekeeping in general, even after finding a bug in my room. Everyone was speaking spanish around me, which I thought was rude, because I speaK English, and they would transfer back and forth. Very rude. And..could not even get ahold of the manager because he was in San Antonio.
Nothing at all ! No positive aspect.
Location : on the Intersate ! You can ear and feel the trucks like driving in your bed all night long. Windows and doors are too thin to avoid noise. Staff was antipathic, breakfast was horrible. I cancelled the 2nd night 15 minutes after entering into the room !
Friendly staff Breakfast ok - funny Texas shaped waffle
Issues with Wi-Fi - never worked for me and poor helpdesk Room was really looking dated Only heavy curtain on the window, no netting, so as I was on the first floor either everyone could see me or I was in the dark.
